What to expect

During this workshop, you’ll learn how to make your own cold-processed soap from scratch. You’ll be guided into making your first own batch, and learn how to customize it according to your own needs. We will cover the basics of old-fashioned, cold-process soap-making using only exclusive, and nourishing plant-based oils. This workshop, hosted by Ineffable Botanical Skincare, uses no animal products and is suitable for vegans. 
During the workshop, there will be one base recipe that is suitable for all skin types. You will learn the science behind the soap and all the different kind of butter and oils you’ll be using. How to use sodium hydroxide safely and what equipment you need will also be discussed.

While making your own soap, you will have the chance to choose which clays, botanicals, and herbal powders you’ll use. We will discuss your skin type so you can make an informed decision. We will also teach you how to make textured soap tops using different tools & botanicals. At the end of the 2,5 hours workshop, you’ll have enough knowledge about soap making. Also, you will have around 3 bars of your own handmade soap. The soap will remain at fq house for 6 weeks to cure/dry out. Then it will be cut, packaged, and sent out via mail.
