Turmeric Paste For Golden Milk

Instructions
  1. Turmeric is a major stainer. Make sure to cover all surfaces and your hands.
  2. Peel the turmeric and fresh ginger. It doesn't need to be perfectly peeled.
  3. Wash, chop and add to blender
  4. Add all other ingredients to blender as well
  5. Blend until smooth
  6. Add to a small pot. Simmer on low heat for 8-10 min. Make sure you stir frequently (!!!Don't let it boil. Just simmer gently)
  7. Let it cool down and store in an airtight container in the fridge
  8. To make golden milk: Add 1-2 tsp to warm plant based milk, stir and enjoy

  • You can get creative and add other spices. However, fat (coconut oil) an pepper are needed to help the absorption of all the healing compounds so do not skip this step
