Our nutrition plans are based on the principles of intuitive eating. Intuitive eating is an approach that was created by two registered dietitians, Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch, in 1995. Intuitive eating is a non-diet approach to health and wellness that helps you tune into your body signals, break the cycle of chronic dieting and heal your relationship with food.
Intuitive eating is an eating style that promotes a healthy attitude toward food and body image. The idea is that you should eat when you’re hungry and stop when you’re full. Though this should be an intuitive process, for many people it’s not. Trusting diet books about what, when, and how to eat can lead you away from trusting your body and its intuition. To eat intuitively, you may need to relearn how to trust your body. We can help you with that.
In our plan there’s no counting calories or macros. It’s not about following a meal plan or measuring out your portions. We will inspire you by making a delicious menu and giving you the freedom to try them out or change them up. The nutrition plan will be filled with delicious recipes and snacks so that you can learn that food is not the enemy and that it should be delicious.
With our plans we will increase your introspective awareness by asking you to answer a series of questions so that you can learn more about yourself and your behaviour. Our goal is to reduce emotional and disordered eating by letting your body run the show.
This program is for you if:
