JUMP TO RECIPE

You know, it is amazing how we often choose for store bought granola because it’s easier. I get that, but the thing is that most of the store-bought granola is high in refined sugar and contains unnecessary fats, oils and fillers. I can hear you think already: “Is home-made granola worth the effort”? Let’s balance things out.

Pros: You get to control what’s in it | You can add ANY variations you want | You can make it as healthy as you want | You decide how much it will cost (depending on the ingredients)

Cons: It takes some time

It seems that there are more pros than cons.  The only one I could think about was the time it takes to make, but you can make a big batch that can last for up to two weeks so problem solved. There might be the slightest (I repeat: slightest) possibility that I’m pretty biased, that’s why I could only think of one ‘disadvantage’. I mean the home made version is so delicious that you’ll never want store-bought again. If you make this recipe you will understand why.

Give it a try and enjoy!
