CHOCOLATE MACA PANCAKES
Today on the menu we have chocolate-maca pancakes. This is a perfect recipe for breakfast, but let’s be honest. I would have this anytime of the day. It’s easy to make and the taste is so delicious. I decided to add maca just to give it an extra health boost.
Maca powder is a product that comes from the process of grinding a root called maca which is related to the radish. Maca has a long list of health benefits but I will narrow it down to 9.
The powder can easily be incorporated into foods and recipes that use fruits too. For instance, maca powder smoothies are immensely popular nowadays. A maca smoothie I often make is banana-blueberry-mace smoothie which contains almond milk, frozen bananas, blueberries and around 1 tablespoon of maca powder.

It seems that there are more pros than cons. The only one I could think about was the time it takes to make, but you can make a big batch that can last for up to two weeks so problem solved. There might be the slightest (I repeat: slightest) possibility that I’m pretty biased, that’s why I could only think of one ‘disadvantage’. I mean the home made version is so delicious that you’ll never want store-bought again. If you make this recipe you will understand why.
